As the vendor, invoices will be sent to your company directly and you will be responsible for payment. You may work with HireRight regarding how you would like to remit payment.

Yes, you need to register for a new vendor account to be compliant with the Sponsor’s specific company requirements which includes pre-defined packages and products. These requirements may be different than your standalone account with Hireright or any other EWS sponsor program.

Most vendors will be charged an account setup fee. However, if a vendor already has an active, existing account at the same address, the Vendor Screening team will review and if applicable bypass the onsite inspection. Your account will still go through limited Credentialing to make sure all documents are still up to date. If you are charged the $150 setup fee and do not believe you should have, please contact our Service Excellence team at customerservice@hireright.com or 866-521-6995 or 949-428-5804.

No, Elevance Health managers and CLPO will not have access to the background checks. Elevance Health managers and CLPO will only be able to see the total aggregated progress of the background check items in Fieldglass. The goal is that managers will be able to retrieve updates from Fieldglass directly so that vendors and CLPO are not involved in sending updates via email. This is one of the goals and intentions behind the change. The vendors will still provide candidate clearance as they do today. There is an audit function that we are working on automating some of our audit functions that we will share additional details as we further along in the process.

Vendor is responsible

At this time, the feature is being launched for temporary labor only but it is for all of temp labor (IT and non IT).

Drug testing will be conducted through HireRight.

The vendors will adjudicate as they do today.

Employment checks are part of the HireRight package. If needed HireRight will reach out to candidates for additional employment documentation such as a w2 or 1099.

It is correct that a vendor would be required to complete a General Affidavit for use of MVRs if they do not already have one on file with HireRight. This Affidavit is required because of the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA). The form does require that an officer of the company complete the info that Judge indicated. This would be required of any compliant FCRA background screening company. If a vendor chooses not to sign the General Affidavit, they can still order searches through us but will not be able to fulfill MVRs. There is no way for us to bypass this legal requirement. You have full access to HireRight’s Vendor Screening support team as well when you go through the registration process and are provided information to contact them as well should they have any questions through the process.

Effective 12/9, all work orders that reach the Supplier’s Work Item in Created status on that day and moving forward will have the selection to “launch background screen” and that is when this process becomes mandatory. Work Orders already in Supplier Work Items and underway prior to 12/9 will not be included.
