Colleague Screening Service

Registration is free, and there are no annual fees for having an account with us. Fees are payable for each colleague screening you request.

There are a variety of packages for different screening needs. The costs of each differs according to the number of background checks involved. LBG can provide the latest scale of fees for these.

HireRight invoices clients at the end of each month, for any colleague screening requests completed in that latest period.

Each client will nominate a primary account holder, who in turn can set up service access for colleagues who will be responsible for requesting and managing colleague screenings.

Clients initiate and supervise the background checks they need to perform on colleagues at the beginning of their assignments with LBG and, in some cases, at periodic intervals afterwards.

Suppliers and service providers to LBG should limit their use of this service to perform complete or partial background checks on workers at the start of contracts or assignments with LBG, and at periodic intervals afterwards, if required.

Aside from informing suppliers or service providers of any need to perform screenings, LBG doesn't have any direct involvement in managing these background checks.

As sponsor of the service LBG can view summary reports limited to status and completion dates for screening cases, which is needed to evidence compliance with screening policy.

LBG's Cifas licence supports the fraud checks, so LBG will receive details of any adverse entries, and will forward these to you as the client.

Most outcomes are straight-forward and don’t require interpretation. But using this service doesn't change the obligation to consult with LBG if a colleague screening reveals information that requires a referral to decide an outcome.
